JUN 9-11, 2017 - ST. THOMAS, ON

Kicked-off at a Family Day event on February 20th by Doug Tarry Homes, project HOPE’s goal is to gift profits made from the sale of a Net Zero Ready Home to the family of Johnny Nooren.

Johnny, a building official from the St. Thomas & Elgin community, passed in the summer of 2016. From the soccer pitch, to pitching in with helping a friend with their home, Johnny was well known, loved and respected. While the community is saddened by his passing, the loss to his wife Angela and his two beautiful children, Luke and Aleida, has been personally devastating. At a time of incredible grief they are also challenged financially and need help.

From June 9 to 11 Doug Tarry Homes will “blitz” build a Net Zero Ready Home over three days. They’re looking for volunteers who’re willing to commit their time, energy, product and materials to this project.
