High-profile company at forefront of energy efficiency
The summer season is shaping up to be even busier than usual for Doug Tarry Custom Homes Ltd.
The city's premier design and building firm is about to begin projects in the Harris view development in Ingersoll and Bradley Park Estates in Aylmer.
"It's an exciting opportunity for us," owner, designer and builder Doug Tarry says.
"We're excited about it. We've had some very good traffic and people seem to be really happy that we're coming back."
Doug Tarry Homes has been in Aylmer before but mainly doing one-off builds - custom, single projects for clients. They were, however, among the builders who first began developing the Bradley Park subdivision years ago.
In recognition of this summer's expansion the company recently unveiled a new logo with Doug Tarry's traditional gold and blue colours. Tarry's focus on energy efficiency is also represented in the form of a leaf.
While the logo is new, once the builder gets to work, Tarry says their work will be easily recognizable.
"Our profile is pretty high because of all the energy stuff we do, the awards we win so we're fairly well known," he explains.
